Snagging job at Toyota won't be easy: Extensive application process for the 150 new spots will begin in 2006

Those drooling over the 150 new jobs created by Toyota plantexpansion in Buffalo must wait until next year to apply.

Even then, only the strong will survive the extensive applicationprocess.

David Copenhaver, vice president of Toyota's West Virginiaoperations, said the company will begin looking at applicants whenpieces of the $120 million expansion fall into place, which willprobably be in late 2006.

"We haven't set an official start date," Copenhaver said. "We'vejust started making a schedule for the expansion."
