A LOT OF BOUNCE FROM THESE SCHOOL PLAYERS.(SPORTS)

The high school basketball season has been bouncing along for over a month now, and before we head into the 2003 portion of the season I want to tell you about some boys and and girls I have seen on the courts who have impressed me.

Here are just a few Saratoga County players who have caught my eye in the early part of the season:

1. Zach Davis, Ballston Spa -- This 6-foot-2 junior forward is one of the steadiest, impressive young players I have seen in awhile. Davis hit some very big shots in the fourth quarter of the Scotties' 56-55 win over Troy last Saturday night and finished with 17 points.
