Plan 'will bring traffic log jam'.

The 'regeneration' of a part of Bury St Edmunds could bring traffic to a crawl, a councillor has claimed.

Sixty-five homes, a 1,500sqm foodstore, 7,500sqm of retail warehousing and a 500sqm tyre and exhaust centre feature in outline plans for the 'comprehensive regeneration' of land off Tayfen Road and Spring Lane, submitted to St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

But Cllr David Nettleton, who represents the ward, has raised concerns about the development.
